So I’m considering buying the DVD box set of Keen Eddie when I get my paycheck. I’ll have more than enough and I’ve wanted it for nearly five years. But, I know I should I get something practical, like groceries or something. What to do? I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it, and other cliches.
So I read an old At World’s End article yesterday, and it had the cutest quote from Gore Verbinski describing Captain Jack better than any I’ve heard before: “He’s a fly you can’t swat. The booger that’s stuck to your finger, and you flick it and it’s on your other finger. And you try to flick it again, and he keeps coming back. He’s pesky in that way. In that final battle with Davy Jones, he just keeps showing up.”
