Okay, so since I actually started putting pictures on my blog, I’ve been looking for a decent image host for the blog pictures. I just joined Acobox to test it and review, and I was surprised by how much I liked it. Very easy, you don’t have to download the image to link, it re-sizes and aligns for you, and generates the code you’ll need to post the picture on your blog.
I don’t think this service is for me, though, as I’m looking for a host for my personal albums, and Acobox specifically collects, screens, and hosts good or high quality images for bloggers, and when you submit images, it’s for all the bloggers to use, not just you. And there are format, size, and quality restrictions, and if you’ve got an iffy digital camera like I do, you really can’t swing quality. (you guys have been here before, you’ve seen how bad my pictures come out.) You can use this to your advantage if you’re a photographer, though, by getting your name out there and getting feedback. Plus, their images are really nice, and it’s easy to sign up for and account, so kudos to them! Here’s a nice one of peach blossoms. So nice!
