Today I tried out CEIVA’s “Sit on Santa’s Lap Experience,” which is not as kinky as it sounds. A video of Santa and his elves talks to you about the CEIVA Digital Photo Frame. But they also have this Got a Wish Sweeepstakes, it’s this whole big thing. You submit a photo, the appropriate sweepstakes info, and what you want for Christmas. Then, every day until Christmas, one winner will be chosen randomly every day, for which said chosen one is cut a five-hundred dollar check! Merry!

The site shut my sister’s browser down, (very graphics intensive) but I opened it in IE, so it was all good. It takes a while for Santa to go through his spiel, and they use little people as elves, but there’s a lot of detail in the set and Santa’s lawyer shows up, which I thought was pretty cute. CEIVA’s Digital Photo Frame isn’t the usual fair, easy to use, even if you’re bad with computers. (Read: “Ideal for grandparents” type present). It’s a real cute frame that hooks up to an existing phone line (CEIVAshare) or by Wi-Fi, (CEIVAlife) and they’ve knocked a hundred or so bucks off the CEIVAshare price if you get the one year picture plan. They also have interchangeable face plates so you can change the frame’s look.
